Today, the weather wasn't the best over here at Simpang Mengayau, Kudat. Known also as the Tip of Borneo, this is one of our all time favourites locations for a local holiday. Due to it's isolated nature, it's not the easiest place to find food.
With the stormy weather, we decided to stay in, enjoy the best of what mother nature had to offer while safely ensconced in the comfort of our chalet.
So out came our stock of Santapan Kari Kambing and Lotus Root soup. Heated it up by soaking the pouch in hot water, celup the roti into the curry and had hot soup to warm us up.
We are really glad that we lugged it all the way from KL. Still have quite a bit left for our long journey ahead. Can't wait to have this again over at Kundasang.
