K3C has always been more than just a community centre. Since its humble beginnings in 2017, it became a safe space — a judgement-free, prejudice-free zone where people came together in solidarity and kindness.
What started as a simple collection point for donated goods quickly transformed into a free mini-market every weekend for those in need. When the pandemic hit and requests surged during the darkest days of PKP, K3C grew from 1 shop lot to 6. We served tens of thousands. We stopped counting after awhile, but we never stopped caring.
In 2022, after years of giving our all physically, mentally, and financially — our hands were forces and we had to shut K3C down. It was one of the hardest decisions we had made.
But some calls are hard to ignore. A recent request for aid led us to take a quiet drive around the area where K3C once stood. To our surprise, the lot that used to home K3C was up for rent again. It felt like a sign. One conversation with the ever-supportive landlord later, and the decision was made.
K3C reopened on 01 June 2025.
We do not know how big this next chapter will be, but we know why we’re doing it; for the community & for the dignity of those in need, and for the spirit of giving that never really left.
No judgement. No prejudice. Just help. The way it always was.
