Who are we?

Santapan RTE is the commercial arm of Kembara Kitchen, a social enterprise established in 2015 with the core mission of delivering sustainable food aid to disaster-affected areas.

Santapan RTE offers high-quality, ready-to-eat meals prepared using retort processing technology, ensuring a shelf life of up to 2 years without the need for refrigeration.

Proceeds from your purchases of Santapan RTE are channelled directly into the production of #SantapanHeroMeals—Ready-to-Eat meals distributed free of charge to individuals affected by disasters.

These meals are specially designed for rapid response:

  • 7 menu variations to meet diverse dietary needs
  • Nutritious, shelf-stable, and require no refrigeration
  • Efficiently deployed to disaster zones within a short timeframe
  • Minimal food wastage, maximum impact

Since June 2021, we have produced and distributed over 500,000 #SantapanHeroMeals not only across Malaysia, but also to crisis zones internationally, including:

  • Myanmar Earthquake (2025)
  • Philippines Typhoon (2024)
  • Türkiye Earthquake (2023)
  • Gaza (2023)
